The Story
A sculptural dreamscape, both tender and tumultuous—this hand-painted vase is a visual memoir of growing up, of losing and finding oneself in the spaces between innocence and recklessness. Whimsical, playful images dance across its surface, capturing the sweetness of childhood— sun-drenched nursery rhymes, schoolbook doodles, kewpie dolls and posies - a world still whole. But look closer, and the cracks begin to show. The restless energy of adolescence takes hold, craving escape, craving feeling, experimenting with the edges of reality. There’s a fleeting sense of weightlessness—an out-of-body experience, watching oneself unravel yet unable to intervene. It is a story of contrast, of searching for identity in places both beautiful and broken. This vase is more than an art object; it is a vessel of memory, a testament to the journey of self-discovery, raw, vulnerable, and undeniably human.

Vase will be sent wrapped in 100% compostable and recyclable, FSC certified, honeycomb kraft paper and securely packaged in a recycled paper cardboard box and eco kraft paper tape.
